Burchell's Zebra in Etosha National Park
The Burchell's Zebra has an off-white coloring, but never pure white. The shadow stripes are usually well marked, and the leg stripes are absent or poor, and almost never complete to hooves. The Burchell's Zebra, also known as the Common Zebra or the Plains Zebra, is the most common and geographically widespread form of zebra, once being found from the south of Ethiopia right through east Africa as far south as Angola and eastern South Africa.
