Photography is my hobby for quit a long time now, as far as from my teens I am busy with photography, making pictures of mainly nature and especially birds.

My first camera was a Russian Zenit Photo Sniper FS-3 Camera (a manual SLR camera with a 58mm and 300mm lens), later on I switched to Minolta SLR cameras. During my distant holidays to all corners of the world, I also made quit a lot of pictures, well actually in those days color slides.

Since long time I haven’t been occupied with photography so much anymore, (except during holidays then), but since 2006 I have started carefully with digital photography with a simple compact camera. In 2007 I bought my first DSLR camera, a Sony Alpha DSLR-A100 and got serious about photography again. Later on I bought a Sony Alpha A700 (which I have already sold again). I have completely switched to Canon and I now have some Canon EOS cameras and a number of lenses. My latest purchase is the Canon EOS 7D mark II camera.

I'm making regular trips into nature so check my Recent Photo Gallery now and then for the latest photos.

For my photo editing I mainly use:

■ Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC 2017
■ Adobe Photoshop CC 2017
■ Nik Software
