Great views along The Friendship Highway. My route along the 'highway' started from the Nepali-Tibetan border at Zhangmu and continued to Nyalam, Tingri (seeing the mighty Mount Everets), Shigatse (the home of the Panchen Lama) via Gyantse to Lhasa, the capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region, passing the turquoise Yamdrok Lake lake and later the Samye Monastery.
